Staircases

We concentrate on purpose made staircase and as a rule do not manufacture standard straight flights, which are more suited to factory production.

As well as providing a full manufacturing and fitting service, we like to work closely with our customers or their architects in the planning stages, from agreeing the layout and style, choosing the timber, to designing the fine carved and turned details of the balusters and newels.

We make cut and bracketed, geometric and winding stairs as well as wreathed handrails. Curved staircases look good in almost any setting and give a real sense of grandeur to a room. Though generally more expensive they can provide a stunning showpiece for the house.
